School got out and summer started. Hanging around the island, a trip to Tampere, a week at the cottage, then grandma and grandpa arrived.

February and March

Behind once again on the monthly post. In February we went to London, which was great fun despite some illness. We continued on through the winter, doing all kinds of outdoor activities and staying busy at school.

January

January saw snow … lots and lots of snow. It’s beautiful, but it certainly piles up.

December

We got over being ill (mostly) and spent the month getting ready for and celebrating the holidays. It snowed quite early this year, which was nice. We spent a week in central Finland for Christmas, then returned to Helsinki for the New Year.

November (a little late)

November was cold and wet, and all of us were sick at one time or another. But, as you can see, it was also a time of celebrations, with two birthdays and Thanksgiving.
